About Bristol Youth Lacrosse

Bristol Youth Lacrosse is a non-profit Youth Sports League dedicated to teaching the exciting sport of Lacrosse to Youth (Grades K-8) throughout our community.

 

Bristol Youth Lacrosse is a non-profit organization with the primary purpose of teaching the game of lacrosse to youth in the City of Bristol and neighboring towns. BYL is dedicated to the skill development of the game and healthy competition without emphasizing scores or records. BYL focuses on instilling the values of sportsmanship, respect, teamwork, fair play, and love for the sport of lacrosse. BYL provides a physical and mental developmental approach, challenging and growing abilities to higher levels of skill while maintaining focus on teamwork and individual leadership.


Developmental Team for Youth in grades K - 2

8U- Lightning Team.

No experience necessary. These players learn to play lacrosse in a safe and fun environment!

Boys-Style Lacrosse for Boys and Girls grades 3-8

Grades 3-4 are 10U- Bantams, Grades 5-6 are 12U-Juniors, and Grades 7-8 are 14U- Seniors.

No experience necessary. These players learn to play, develop, and enhance their skills in a safe and fun environment. Each level provides a higher intensity and enhanced training to increase the players skills.

Girls Team for girls grades 4-8.

No experience necessary. These players learn to play, develop, and enhance their skills of girls-style lacrosse in a safe and fun environment.

BYL Players Advancing to High School

In the Spring of 2013, Bristol Eastern and Central High Schools initiated

Boys Varsity Teams and a Girls Co-op Team.

Thanks to the Bristol Lacrosse High School Committee and the founders of BYL!

Their tireless work and effort brought higher levels of Lacrosse to our City!

Bristol currently has a Co-Op Boys Varsity team and each High School has a Girls Varsity Team!
